Sophie finds a solution for everything
We planned our wedding together with Sophie and are absolutely thrilled with every aspect!
Sophie is very reliable, always responds immediately (even on weekends), keeps a close eye on everything, and thinks of every detail! It is very important to set a budget for the wedding in advance. Sophie will then tell you whether it is realistic, and you can rest assured that the agreed budget will not be exceeded.
In the end, we were even able to save money thanks to Sophie. Thanks to her relaxed manner and her talent, you are not stressed during the preparation time and can just enjoy the wedding day!
On the wedding day itself, Sophie was there with two assistants, took care of everything, and we were able to concentrate solely on celebrating.
It was the best decision to plan our wedding with Sophie, and we recommend her 100%.
Wedding Planning Service in Burgenland
When Vicky & Max decided on a summer wedding, one thing was particularly important to them: a relaxed atmosphere in the countryside, with plenty of space for their guests (the couple celebrated with 160 guests) and the opportunity to celebrate outdoors.
The search for the perfect location began 1.5 years before the big day—it quickly became clear that it should be a palace or castle, and that it would be nice to be a little further away from Vienna to make it more of a destination wedding.
- Selecting a location:
After several viewings, the choice fell on the beautiful Baroque Halbturn Castle in Burgenland. Only 50 minutes from Vienna, but in an absolutely dream location.
The spacious grounds, which can be rented exclusively, offered exactly what they had imagined. It was particularly important to the couple that the wedding ceremony and reception could take place at the same location—without guests having to travel long distances.
The wedding day
On the day itself, the sun was shining brightly—with temperatures above 35 degrees, it was a real summer wedding. The outdoor ceremony took place under old trees, romantically decorated with large vases, colorful flowers, and a white carpet. Despite the heat, everyone held up well—plenty to drink and umbrellas provided a little cooling.

- The evening and the celebration
After the wedding ceremony, guests enjoyed a relaxed reception with cool drinks, aperitifs, and small Italian snacks in the shade of the trees. The bride and groom’s request for a prosciutto machine was no problem and fit perfectly with the atmosphere.
In the evening, the ballroom opened for dinner, which was served on round gala tables and accompanied by emotional speeches. The couple had opted for a seasonal menu—light and, above all, regional.
We had planned a special band for the evening. The bride has roots in America, so the couple decided on a high school band that played the biggest hits of recent years.
- Challenges and special moments:
The biggest challenge was definitely the weather. Despite all the precautions, the heat was tough on everyone—especially during the preparations and the wedding ceremony. However, the team on site was extremely well organized, so cool drinks were always available and additional shade was created on the spot.
Another special moment: the thunderstorm that rolled in shortly after dinner began. Instead of dampening the mood, it brought relief.
Many guests stood in the light summer rain, the bride and groom changed into party outfits and toasted the new chapter in their lives with shots – an almost magical moment that no one will forget anytime soon.
